Aux pr\u00e9\u00admices de ce desi\u00adgn&nbsp;: la volon\u00adt\u00e9 de Mon\u00adsieur Paul d\u2019une gui\u00adtare qui ait la classe d\u2019une gui\u00adtare hol\u00adlow body (demi-caisse ou acous\u00adtique) et la min\u00adceur d\u2019une solid body. Gib\u00adson fera tout \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00adpo\u00ads\u00e9 de Fen\u00adder&nbsp;: m\u00e9ca\u00adniques raf\u00adfi\u00adn\u00e9es en tulipe, accas\u00adtillage dor\u00e9 favo\u00adri\u00ads\u00e9, incrus\u00adta\u00adtions de nacre, bin\u00adding, manche col\u00adl\u00e9 (et non vis\u00ads\u00e9 comme chez Leo), bois denses (aca\u00adjou du Honduras). Au final, la Les Paul de Les (!) \u00e9tait presque plus proche d\u2019une Fen\u00adder d\u2019un point de vue sonore, \u00e9tant don\u00adn\u00e9 qu\u2019il pr\u00e9\u00adf\u00e9\u00adrait lar\u00adge\u00adment les micros \u00e0 simple bobi\u00adnage et qu\u2019il \u00e9qui\u00adpait ses gui\u00adtares d\u2019un pick\u00adguard large accom\u00adpa\u00adgn\u00e9 d\u2019un vibra\u00adto \u00e0 action manuelle.
